This specification covers the requirements for PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pressure pipe with bell and spigot joints utilizing a double seal locked in (DSLI) gasket. The pipe is Iron Pipe Size (IPS) in nominal sizes of 2" – 12". This pipe meets the requirements of American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) Standard D2241 and Standard D1784 and the pipe connection ends are Gasket Joint x Spigot
SDR-21 PVC solvent weld pressure pipes are suitable for potable water supply lines, transmission mains, sewage force mains, golf course, and other irrigation systems, oilfield saltwater disposal, stormwater disposal, well casings, industrial process piping, and other pressure applications.
